Acme has upped the ante in its bid to preserve the environment with its 'ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY MANUFACTURING INITIATIVE', a unique project to recycle it’s industrial waste to manufacture reusable materials that are used in many of Acme’s shoes.
The breakthrough came with the idea that the waste raw materials from various parts, that include leather, vamp lining, quarter lining, Insole, PU and foam, can be combined in a mixture with a base material that can then produce foam that is used in the shoe collar linings.
Acme has been recycling tonnes of raw material every month, reconfirming it’s commitment to environment friendly manufacturing practices.
