Whenever you change the model or manufacturer, it is advisable to check the fitting, because feet spread with age, ask user to measure the shoe size once in two/three years. For a diabetic it is advisable to do it more often. Shoe size verification should be done late in the afternoon/ Feet swell to their largest then. Size depends on show make and style. The user should not insist for a particular size, if the other size fits better. The toe portion should be roomy enough so you can move all your fingers. The back height of the shoe should be sufficient to give the grip.
